An excellent opportunity has been created to join The Gateway Theatre following a hugely challenging time for the arts & entertainment sector. We are extremely excited to be re-opening our doors in September 2021, after a successful programme of internal works to update the theatre we are preparing to welcome audiences back with an exciting range of cinema, theatre and live music events.
We are looking to appoint a Theatre Programme Administrator, this presents a fantastic opportunity for an energetic, adaptable, creative, business-minded individual, passionate about theatre and working with the community. As the only theatre in Seaton and surrounding areas, we aim to enhance our sustainability through the development of new theatre income streams and the expansion of our current offer.
You will engage your experience and knowledge of theatre and the arts to develop our youth theatre and community amateur dramatics opportunity, working with new technology and cinema provision that offers access to all. You will ensure the successful scheduling of events to invigorate the community and attract diverse audiences of all ages, establishing, developing and maintaining positive working relationships with schools, councils and other community groups.
This is a unique opportunity for a proven, highly skilled and passionate theatre professional to take forward our theatre programme, working with our trustees, staff, and volunteers to build an outstanding programme of entertainment taking The Gateway Theatre to the next level and beyond.
